Internal & Disciplinary Investigations

The outcome of a failed internal investigation has a damaging affect to the individual responsible for the inquiry and the organisation for which the investigation was conducted. There are a number of reasons why affected parties complain when making a claim to the reviewing or prosecuting bodies.

They usually are;

  • Breach of procedural fairness
  • Biased attitude displayed by investigator
  • Poor investigation documentation
  • Failure in evidence assessment
  • Lack of transparency
  • Unrealistic recommendations

We are fully conversant with all aspects of internal and disciplinary investigations. All internal investigations are conducted according to Government guidelines and Australian Standards relating to the conduct of internal investigations and meet both industrial relations and criminal legislative requirements.
